About
Healthcare Advisor was started to help people navigate through the complex maze of healthcare. Think of our advisors as a guide to help you make the right decisions when it comes to your healthcare. We believe you should be able to maximize the benefits to you or your family member while minimizing your time and expense. Many people have advisors (attorneys, financial advisors, accountants, etc.) or mentors in their life, yet we look to our neighbor or friend for advice when it comes to healthcare. Our healthcare system will continue to become more complex and we believe we can help you make the right decisions.
Rick Lane, Advisor
Our founder came up with the idea of Healthcare Advisor after his mother was dealing with pancreatic cancer at age 57. “During that time, I visited my mother in North Carolina and she would hand me a stack of claims and insurance information and ask “what do I pay?”” At that moment, Mr. Lane realized that there were probably many people in this same situation. People with parents in a nursing home living in a different city with no help. People in hospitals, assisted living facilities or just a friend down the street that may need some guidance or help.
Graduating from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Business, Mr. Lane has worked for healthcare companies since 1987 and owned his own home infusion business since 2006. Surrounded by phenomenal clinicians, we can make a difference in navigating the healthcare maze and assisting you with all the financial aspects as well.
